I didn’t begin in branding. I began by building.

My journey into entrepreneurship started in financial services.

It was an industry where cold calling and referrals were often seen as the way to build a client base. But I knew that wasn’t how I wanted to do it. Instead, I began using Instagram and webinars to build a personal brand, share what I knew and bring people into my world.

That visibility started creating inbound enquiries. People already had a sense of who I was before we ever spoke.

Before I had all the language for positioning and brand presence, I was learning what happens when people can understand you, trust you and connect with the person behind the business.

That approach helped me build a strong sales career, generate £186,000 in annual sales and move into leadership. From there, I went on to lead teams, develop brands, create communities, speak and help other people become clearer and more confident about how they showed up.

Some things worked. Some things had to be rebuilt. A lot of what I know, I learnt by living it first.

That is why I don’t see branding as something you place on top of a business to make it look good. I look at what sits underneath it: who you are, what you’ve built, what people currently understand and whether your presence reflects the level you’re operating at now.

Today, I bring that experience together through brand consultancy, speaking and workshops. I’m also the founder of She’s the One, an organisation strengthening identity from girlhood to womanhood.

Different expressions, but the same thread runs through all of them.

Whether I’m working with a founder, speaking to a room or supporting the next generation, my work is about helping people understand who they are, recognise what they carry and show up from that place.

Because you cannot build what you haven’t become.
